This program that started in May 2003 and end in March 2004 includes the construction of a National Sustainable Development Chinese-English website, publishing the annual report on National Sustainable Development for the Year 2003 and assistance to the work of the staff of the National Sustainable Development Commission. The results are summarized below: 1. Website Construction: Completion of information update and improvement of its English content, increase its Chinese-English news content and redesign its homepage with convenient search functions. 2. Publication of the Annual Report After the compilation of information and reports from each national sustainable development unit, the Report will be published and sent to related domestic and international organizations. 3. Work of Secretariat staff The Secretariat and its staff will continue supporting the work and meetings of the second National Sustainable Development Commission, the organization of various activities and the compilation of information for the Annual Report.
